North Philippines Bags and Footwear Manufacturing Corporation (North Phil) was incorporated on January 2012 with an Authorized Capital Stock of Four Million Peso (Php 4,000,000.00). To Date, the whole 4 million is fully subscribed and paid up.

NorthPhil was established by the Tan Family due to gradual improvements in the market economy. The Tan Family used to own Shoe Town and Footjoy that were considered as the biggest manufacturing facility in the Province of Bulacan. It has a production area of close to 80,000 square meters of factory land. At its peak, it has a workforce of 4,000 working in 2 shifts. It has 10 bunburry mills, 5 kneaders, 10 hydraulic presses churning out a daily capacity of 120,000 pairs of EVA sandals, 4 assembly lines (40 meters long) take care of grinding, pasting and assembly works. Vulcanized shoes were handled by 4 vulcanizing tanks. During its heyday, Shoe Town and Footjoy manufactures rubber shoes for Nike and Adidas. It is also the biggest manufacturer of W.Brown casual shoes. But due to labor problems and continuing worsening of the market after the Asian Financial Crises, these 2 factories eventually close down in 2001

In 2003, Mr. Tan, the founder, again mainly accepts sub-con works for Avon. 2 conveyor lines and 50 sewing machines were its initial capacity. Due to its increasing volume needs from Avon and other established marketing channels, North Phil was established on 2012. North Phil has the skill also for bags manufacturing mainly because it has 35 units of computer sewing machines that has work speed equivalent to 12 sewers daily output. Mr. Tan has been in the shoe industry close to 40 years now. He also has raw materials outlet store in Marikina and Divisoria as well as shoe retail outlets located in key provinces all over the Philippines among the business endeavors.
